What could possibly be more fun (and more chaotic) than taking 55 two-to-five-year-olds swimming at the beach? Well, trying to get them all changed in a tiny dirty changeroom, storing their clothes in each child's respective bag without throwing them on the floor first, keeping them from running away too soon, giving them a bunch of sugar in Fanta Orange form, and then letting them go swimming under the supervision of only 4 adults, myself included...
Steven lines the kids up and says "Do you like sweemming"
"Yeaaaaaah!!!!"
"Do you know how to sweem?"
"Yeaaaaah!!!!"
"Are you ready now for sweeming?"
"Yeaaaaah!!!!"
... And then he counts to three...
... and they all go swimming...
Even little Allan decides he likes swimming and he clings to me all morning in the water. I teach him to splash people.
The kids all want their photos taken, so I take dozens of these type of portraits. This one is my favorite!
