This is what we found at the School on Day One, at 10am - Just over 12 hours after handing Steven the first bit of cash from the donations from home...
Mixing the "Chokaa" or plaster which will be applied to the walls to smooth over the rough bricks.
Steven and I sitting outside at the end of the school day while the workers ("Fundi" in Kiswahili) keep working inside.
One wall of the first classroom, almost finished. This plaster will dry a much lighter colour, and will then be painted.
