This time last year I was packing my bags and heading to Tanzania. I miss the place like crazy, but won't be going back this year. Next winter, however, I am planning an epic Overland East Africa trip, going from Egypt to South Africa, with a month or so in Tanzania to catch up with my kids. I'm taking applications for the position of fellow-traveller if anyone is interested ;)
